Our home for the weekend is Hinwick House. Modeled on the original Buckingham Palace, Hinwick House is a grand Grade I listed Quenne Anne country house, set within 38 acres of sweeping parkland and mature gardens.
Built in 1710 for the aristocratic Orlebar family, the house makes you feel like royalty. With period furniture from the collection of Althorp, antique persian rugs, and grand chandelliers - every room tells a story.
Beyond its beautiful foyers and thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, the property offers a gym, tennis court, snooker room, and an expanisve main lawn complete with cricket and croquet equipment.
Not to worry, lounging at the fireplace is just as much a sport.

what if I do not find a mutual?
Not to worry. We completely understand if you’re unable to find a mutual for the occasion. However, we kindly ask that you let us know in good time, so we can offer the place to another mutual who would love to join us for the weekend.
how does payment work?
Mutuals is not a profit-driven event - it is a cost-shared gathering. Your contribution goes directly toward the house, food, staff and logistics needed to make the weekend run smoothly. A small per-person buffer is included to protect the event from last-minute drop outs and cost swings. To confirm your attendance, we ask for a 50% deposit (€260). This allows us to secure the house and catering upfront. Please note: - Deposits are non-refundable unless the accommodation is cancelled - Your spot is only confirmed once the deposit is received - Final balance is due one month prior to the event date This helps ensure the event remains financially safe and sustainable for everyone involved.
what are the room options?
Rooms vary in size and can accommodate between 2 and 6 people. These include a mix of single and double beds. Room allocations will be arranged in advance based on mutuals and will be shared at check-in. We ask that everyone remains flexible and considerate, as a lot of planning goes into ensuring the best possible arrangement for everyone.
